Hi Emely:
Thank you for your quick reply. Highly appreciated.
I was thinking about purchasing a Steamer, one that covers my entire head. But I would like a two in one: 1. A steamer for my deep conditioning and 2. A dryer to dry my roller set. Could you please recommend one, that gives me the two benefits.
I need to be presentable among people, and I can´t air dry. I need to roller set. At times my hair doesn´t dry. When I am at like 5 months post.
Nice night,
Thanks in advance

RESPONSE FROM HAIR-LUXE:
Hey ****,
Thanks for submitting your hair questions!
(1) I have never used a steamer in my hair journey, and have not done very much research on the topic either, so I would not feel comfortable giving information on a topic I have personally not mastered.
(2) I do use a hair dryer, with good results. The one I use is Gold 'n hot-professional bonnet dryer, which I purchased at my local beauty supply store. However, I only air dry my hair. I use the bonnet dryer for deep conditioning, or other things like that.
(3) I have gone 6 months between relaxers only twice, and during that time, if I needed to look professional/presentable I would air dry my hair as always, then use a flat iron to straighten my hair for a sleek look.
I no longer stretch for that long, because I tend to suffer from breakage and hair loss at the line where my new growth meets my relaxed hair. I now only stretch to ten weeks between relaxers
Good Luck and please feel free send any and all questions my way

Hi Emely:
Love your vids.
Tell me something do you do rollerset, what are your leave ins.
I am neck length. I did a trim on July 26, 2012, to get rid of dead ends and whatnot.
On a weekly basis I do roller set, but I would like a good cheapy leave -in, something that I can find in Panama.
I do not use setting lotion, because it leaves my hair dry, hard, etc.
I am 11 weeks post today, I am planning on relaxing by the end of the month not sure. Because I wanted to go 6 months strech, (an event comming up) I have done it in the past with success, but what was not helping me out was products. Ok, I have found out what works for me, that is what I hope, But I need a good moisturizing leave in not protein.

Hi *******,
Thank you for your recent subscription to hair-luxe videos. If you would like to receive the Hair-Luxe free monthly newsletter (only available to blog subscribers), please respond to this email with the word "yes", if not, do nothing.
Answers to your questions :-)
(1) I have tried roller sets twice. I no longer do roller sets only because it was too time consuming for me to get my hair completely dried in rollers. However, the results were good, and after I finished the roller set I would do the Saran Wrap Method.
(2) I do not always put leave ins in my hair unless I am far along in my stretch, and am having trouble taming my hair. I do have a leave in conditioner that I use (Silk Elements Leave in Conditioner).
(3) I never used anything to hold the roller set(like a setting lotion), because I went on to use the saran wrap method, as I was attempting to get straight hair without using a flat iron.
**Congratulations on the success you have had on your hair journey. When did you begin your journey? What are your hair goals?
I think it is great that you have just trimmed your hair. My suggestion to you at 11 weeks post, is to deep condition your hair at least once per week to keep it soft and manageable. If you do not have a deep conditioning product (the deep conditioner I use most often is-Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep conditioning Mask), use the following technique:
-apply any conditioner to your dry hair (thoroughly apply the conditioner to all of your hair)
-apply an oil to seal in the conditioner (EVOO, sweet almond, or coconut, etc)
-cover your hair with a plastic cap
--If you have a dryer to sit under, sit under the dryer for 10-15 min on med or high setting
--If you do not have a dryer, keep the plastic cap on for 45 min to an hour
--shampoo your scalp, avoid sudsing/scrubbing your ends...some shampoo will get on your ends as you wash and rinse and that is okay :-)
--rinse, apply your conditioner, and style as usual
If you have any more questions, do not hesitate to ask. You may send a photograph of your hair, or do a video response on youtube for any problems that would require me to see the condition of your hair.
Good Luck and best hair wishes,
Emily
